On 7 November 2012 at 7.30 at the Somerset Heritage Centre Dr Neil Rushton, Conservation Manager, CCT West Region will give a presentation on Saving Historic Churches in Somerset and Bristol – the work of the Churches Conservation Trust. Neil is an archaeologist specialising in medieval architectural history and joined the Churches Conservation Trust in 2006.

If the talk whets your appetite Neil will be leading a visit to St
James Church at Cameley, Temple Cloud, BRISTOL, BS39 5AH at
2pm on Saturday 17 November 2012. This church, described as Rip Van
Winkle's church by John Betjeman, has been virtually untouched for
centuries and has early wall paintings. There is an option to book lunch by
